I dined in with bunch of my friends a while ago. I ordered the Mutton Jalfrazi with a garlic nan. I was sharing the nan with a friend however the nan was so delicious that I had to order a second one. The spice level is authentically South Asian. I come from a South Asian background, so I was pleasantly surprised with that. Since most Asian restaurants I have seen here accommodate to the European palate. Also, you can level up or down in spice levels according to your taste which is nice. The waiting staff were extremely friendly and really attentive. If you like Indian food I would definitely recommend going to Chandni.

Very nice and cozy Indian restaurant in Passau. I tried Kashmiri Lamb, and it was very nice (and also authentic Indian Level spicy). The atmosphere is also very nice, with friendly waiters. Suggestion: please make better naans, I was sort of disappointmented with the garlic Naan, it was more of a European bread. All in all, I would highly recommend this place.

Location: Good Service: Good Quantity: Not Satisfactory, for example the Starters that cost 13,50€ the number of pieces on the plate were less. Price: Price to Quantity was not satisfactory Quality of food orderered: Starter Plate: Satisfactory Naan - Good Butter Chicken: Good Veg Curry: Satisfactory Overall: Satisfactory The restaurant is worth visiting only if one wants to try Indian food or if one has no options at other places.

Really nice and delicious Indian restaurant. One of the best restaurants in Passau (I could even say "in Germany", but chose not to since I haven't been all the cities in Germany yet) . Fair price, I won't say expensive considering the quality and quantity of the food. Anyone can safely try this one. Food are not really spicy so it is safe place for Germans too. At the same time it is not that blunt either. So you don't feel like "Indian food for Germans" like some other restaurants.

Very friendly staff, the kitchen however fell a bit behind our last visit 2 years ago. Not so tasty as it used to be. The Dhaba in Landshut is our benchmark, and is probably hard to beat.

Great Indian food and they can make it properly spicy if you ask! For some reason finding great Indian food that is truly spicy can be a challenge in Germany sometimes. If you like spicy Indian food, this is the place to go! They can likewise cater to your friends who can't handle spice as well 😉 …

Delicious Indian food! I highly recommend it! The staff was very accommodating. My daughter and I decided to eat outside, but when evening arrived, it became chilly. The server provided a complimentary blanket to us and when a table opened up inside, invited us in.
